June, 2008 Dear Food and Wine Lovers, Our 14th Annual Seafood Dinner will be held on two dates: Wednesday, July 16th and Thursday, August 14th. This is usually our most popular dinner, and we are unable to accommodate everyone on just one evening. I have paired the seafood dishes with white wines from Italy. Our good friend and Italian wine aficionado Roberto Rosenfeld will be here to talk a little about the wines. Come to our 14th Annual Seafood Dinner. If you enjoy fish and shellfish this is a dinner you do not want to miss. The menu is enclosed. Casual dress is welcomed, especially if the weather is warm. Our next Wine Tasting Workshop is on Tuesday, July 29th at 7:30. Chris McGowan of Sussex Wine Merchants will give a tutored tasting of Loire Valley wines. Chris has worked as a sommelier and is an excellent teacher. He is passionate about his work. We will taste the following nine wines: Ampliadae Armance, Marigny-Brizay The cost for the workshop is just $30. prepaid. This is an opportunity to educate your palate and discover some new tastes.
